Delete it yourself

For employees and managers:

1. Log in at helloswap.io/login with the same email and password you use in the app.
2. Open your profile: click your name, or your initials on a phone, in the top-right corner.
3. Scroll to the bottom, tap Delete my profile, and confirm.

You're signed out on every device straight away, including the app. If you're your company's only admin, make someone else admin first — or ask us below to delete the whole company account.

Ask us to delete it

Can't log in, or want your company's whole account deleted? Email hello@helloswap.io from the email address on the account, with the subject "Delete my helloswap account" (and the company name, if it's the whole company). We'll confirm by email and carry it out within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, email, phone number, job title, photo and emergency contact.
• Your password, logins on every device, and the app's notification registrations.
• Your availability, days off, time-off and sick-leave requests, clock-in/out times and notifications.
• Shift swaps you requested, and your repeating weekly shifts.

Shifts you were on stay on your company's schedule without your name, so the rest of the team's schedule still works.

What is kept, and for how long

• A 30-day grace period: your account is deactivated immediately and permanently erased 30 days later. Within that window your company's admin can reactivate it if it was a mistake; after that it can't be recovered.
• Security log: a record that account actions happened (for example "profile deleted"), which refers to an internal ID rather than your name or email.
• Company billing records (invoices), when a whole company is deleted — kept as long as Danish bookkeeping law requires.
